Emily Bucci is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She is majoring in Graphic Design and will graduate in May 2008. She has been on the Deans List for 6 semesters.
Emily is very involved with the Summit Church in Durham, NC where
she sings in the worship choir.
She enjoys doing layout design for publications including Blue & White
and Virtuous Woman. She has interned with University Directories and Calliope Publishing. Emily is the secretary of the Society
for News Design. She also spends her time doing freelance design work for multiple clients.
Emily spent two summers working at a Christian camp called Camp Oak Hill. She enjoyed spending her
summers building relationships with young girls and getting to live out her faith.
In high school, Emily was very involved in Musical Theater and performed
in shows including "The Wizard of Oz", "Hello Dolly", "Oliver!", and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown". She also performed in the
the North Carolina Theatre's rendition of "Annie". She was selected as an Outstanding Senior in high school.
In her free time, Emily loves to sing karaoke, look at her atlas, play with her sweet cat, and wear
scrubs (for absolutely no reason).
